ADELINE ELSIE PAWULSKI (DEMEDASH) June 4, 1944 - January 30, 2013 Adeline passed away Wednesday afternoon, peacefully with her family by her side, at the St. Boniface Hospital. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Charles, of 47 years; her children Dean and Wanda, Kelly and David, and Trudy and Al; her grandchildren Jordan, Teagan, DJ, Zach and Matthew, and her many extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her father Henry, mother Rose, stepfather Mike, and brothers William, Walter and Nick. She is survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy and Jennifer. Adeline dedicated her life to caring for others, especially the clients at Cornerstone and Adult Daycare. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, always giving and asking nothing in return. Adeline was born and raised in the Gimli area and remained there raising a family with her husband. The family extends their thanks to the health care professionals at the St. Boniface Hospital's Cardiac Care Unit for their compassion and care. To respect her wishes a private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cardiac Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital or the Manitoba Diabetes Association. I'M FREE Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God has chosen for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I've now found peace at the end of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Oh yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow Look for the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; Don't lengthen your pain with undue grief. Lift up your heart and peace to thee, God wanted me now - He set me free NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 Gimli: 204-642-7124 www.nbardal.mb.ca

  • I met Addie about 25 years ago when our kids were in cadets. Over the years I always enjoyed her cheerful greetings. I admired the hard work she put in at Cornerstone. I am sure there will be a deep sense of loss to the family. Please accept my sympathies. - Posted by: Isabel Peterson (Friend/Aquaintance) on: Feb 05, 2013

  • Our thoughts are with all of you. I will never forget her kind and generous heart. We had just become friends when she, without hesitation, offered to look after our children while I was taking my father- in -law back and forth to St. B. for radiation treatments. She always had smile and kind words every time we met. A wonderful person. - Posted by: Terill Adamik (friend) on: Feb 05, 2013

  • I first met Adeline in 1964. A newlywed from Winnipeg Gimli was very strange to me. She made me feel welcome to the community and over the years our friendship developed. Many good times with our young families. Adeline was the most down to earth person anyone would ever meet. She was always herself. She will be missed by all who were lucky to have known her. My condolences to her husband Chas, children and grandchildren. Rest in Peace my friend. - Posted by: SHIRLEY KANE (SUCHY) (FRIEND) on: Feb 01, 2013
