  • "Sig" was a great instructor at college. He definitely knew his stuff. I learned a lot from him. Condolences to the family. - Posted by: Daniel S. Einarson (Student at RRCC Piping Trades) on: Feb 11, 2013

  • I remember Sonny, as I knew him, as a warm man, who always had time for his first cousin (my mother) Sig's kids. It was always a good time, visiting Uncle Sigmar, Auntie Sina, and Sonny at their house on the river in Winnipeg. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: Dorianne Bristow (Cousin) on: Feb 06, 2013

  • "Siggi" liked to stop and talk on his way to the park on his bike with the dog - he had many stories to tell about the past history of the neighbourhood and was very interesting to listen to. We are going to miss his daily stop. Our best regards to Ken and the family. - Posted by: John and Annette West (neighbour) on: Feb 06, 2013

  • Sonny, as I knew him when I was growing up, was a great help and positive influence to me. We would often visit their home on the river as my father was good friends with his dad. There was always a fun visit, talk of penny stocks, and a bowl of Ice Cream for the kids. - Posted by: Clayton Bristow (Cousin) on: Feb 04, 2013
