JOHN G. REIMER September 25, 1927 - February 2, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John G. Reimer. He died peacefully at home on Saturday afternoon in the presence of his beloved wife, Hilda. He was predeceased by his first wife Elsie and by his son David. He will be remembered by Hilda, his children and their families, Dennis and Phyllis, Gerald and Lori, Audrey and Gerald Penner, Allan and Debra, Ron, Eileen and Victor Engbrecht, and Deb and Tim Rogalsky and Hilda's children and their families, Kate and Con Isaac, Kurt and Leona Schwarz, and Kristine and Keith Friesen. Long-time teacher and active community servant, Dad touched the lives of many and he will be greatly missed. Funeral services for John G. Reimer will be held Wednesday, February 6, 7:00 p.m. at Heartland Community Church and on Thursday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Prairie Rose EMC both in Landmark. Interment at Prairie Rose EMC Cemetery.   • Mr. Reimer was my Principal when I started Kindergarten and I've never been able to forget his kind ways. He was always an encouragement and ready with a smile! Even when I'd bump into him through my teenage years and into adulthood he still would take the time to chat and ask how I was. Mr. Reimer you were a very special man indeed! My condolences to all of the family at this very sad time.   • Mr. Reimer was my teacher all the way from Grades 1 to 8 inclusive and after a year or two of high school he was the principal there. I considered him as much a friend as a teacher. - Posted by: Barbara Hildebrand Friesen (student) on: Feb 07, 2013

  • Mr. Reimer was an excellent teacher! I learned a lot in every subject during those two years. Also, many Bible verses I now know, I learned during those years.
