Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTINA BANMAN (nee THIESSEN) March 18, 1944 - February 4, 2013 Don't think of Tina as gone away, her journey has just begun. Our beloved Tina unexpectedly passed away at the age of 68 years, at her home where many fond memories were made. Tina is survived by her loving husband George, children Janice (Herb), George Jr. (Debbie), Jim (Lori), grandchildren Stephen (Alysha) and Daniel, great-grandchildren Taylor, Jillian and Anthony, foster children Natasha and Nautica, all of Winnipeg, and the extended Banman family. She was predeceased by her parents Martin and Helena, daughter Susie, one brother and two nephews. She leaves behind three sisters, seven brothers and their families, also numerous nieces and nephews. Everyone is welcome to pay tribute to Tina at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Tina always made everyone welcome in her home. She shared her excessive love with so many children and her family. Her love for others was so apparent to us, surely the Lord has seen it and gathered her to him. My whole life I knew Auntie Tina as the Auntie who did foster care, and the auntie that made me LOVE perogies and farmer sausage :) Auntie Tina, your whole life you took care of your family, and other families through foster care. Although God always watched over you, but you are in his home now. Say hi to Grandma & Grandpa Thiessen for me! Love you and miss you more than words can say.
