DANIEL (DANNY) FREDERICK ANDERSON November 7, 1943 - February 7, 2013 With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Danny Anderson on the evening of Thursday, February 7, 2013. Born to Merrilyn and Frederick Anderson, cherished nephew of Verna McKeag and special grandson of Elizabeth Anderson, all who have predeceased him. Most beloved and loved brother of Diann Anderson. His memory will live on in his sister and his many cousins who he loved to see on his visits home. Danny quietly touched the hearts of all who met him. He was friendly, gentle and a very religious gentlemen, yet he displayed a childlike innocence and trust in people that was endearing to all. Danny now soars with the angels! From the age of thirteen years Danny lived at the Manitoba Developmental Centre in Portage la Prairie, where his life was enriched immensely for the years he spent there. He loved to come home for lengthy visitations on all holidays and special occasions. A most sincere thank you to the entire staff at M.D.C. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in the Aspen Worship Centre at the Manitoba Developmental Centre, in Portage la Prairie, with The Reverend Ron Siemens officiating. Directions/Address: Hwy. #1 west to Portage la Prairie, Manitoba Developmental Centre, 840-3rd Street N.E. (right turn off Saskatchewan). Aspen Worship Centre: Located on Centre Street (1Road past the M.D.C. Administration Building on 3rd Street N.E.).
