EVELYN DODDS (nee TOBER) November 13, 1943 ~ February 13, 2013 It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Evelyn Adele Dodds announces her passing at the Pine Falls Health Complex. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband George of 50 years, her daughters Eileen (Ken) Otto and Janelle Carlson (Mike Marsh), grandchildren Graeme and Kiana Carlson, foster grandson Tyler Letander, step-grandchildren Jason (Leanna) Otto and Matthew Otto, sister Lyla (Gunther) Brey, brother Grant (Marjorie) Tober, niece Joan (Brad) Hinther, nephews Brian Brey and Tyson (Jolene) Tober and numerous friends and co-workers. Mom worked as a health care aide for 42 years in Pine Falls and was very active in the MGEU union. Mom always put her family first, especially her grandchildren. Mom enjoyed many summers at the lake, bingo, bowling and cards. Mom always looked for the good side in everything. Thanks to all the staff and doctors who took such excellent care of mom and to the many friends who were there for the family. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 18 at Pine Falls United Church, Pine Falls, MB. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in Mom's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. George, Eileen and Janell, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your families, Evelyn was a fantastic lady she had a way of making a person smile and feel better even on a bad day. She helped me through many of mine. I know how hard it is to lose a mom but It always helps me to think that Heaven has another angel to watch over our loved ones on earth.
