Tannis was always kind, with a cheerful comment regardless of the situation. It has been a long time since we last saw each other. Last time I chatted with your Mom when I passed thru from my Mom's. Life is precious its too bad we didn't catch up. Ride those horses girl, it was your true love. Rest now your pain is gone. - Posted by: Cathy Dobson(Shadlock) (High school friend) on: Feb 21, 2013

I remember all the miles of trails we shared, chatting about everything; you were always so positive. A true inspiration! You will be missed around the campfires at future trail rides. We will miss you very much! - Posted by: Darlene Lamoureux (Trail Riding Friend) on: Feb 21, 2013

For a person on her own, we were always amazed at the drive she had and how she accomplished so much. Over the years Tannis had a dark cloud follow her everywhere she went and she tried her best to out run it and then got diagnosed with cancer. She still gave the strongest hugs, biggest smiles and took care of everyone of her critters and gave them the best love a person could give. I will always remember her denim jean collection - every colour under the sun - to match her personality of course! Her passion was horses, her pastime was connecting with old and new friends. You will always be missed, every time we throw our legs over our trusty steeds we will be thinking of you. You will be the warmth of the sun, the dust on the trail, the smell of fresh hay, the gallop of thundering hooves, the calmness of a breeze and silver lining in every cloud. Ride like the wind girl!... don't look back!! - Posted by: Brent & Laurie Polson (Longtime Friends) on: Feb 21, 2013

Although I have not seen Tannis for many years, I can still vividly remember her smile. It was contagious and could light up a room! Rest in Peace, Tannis. You will not be forgotten. You are now lighting up Timmy's life again! - Posted by: Lila (Jorheim) MacInnes (childhood friend) on: Feb 20, 2013

Tannis, you were one of my best friends, even thought we didn't talk that often when we did it was exactly where we left off in our last conversation. We will miss your hugs and warm smile, I can still hear you say "What did you go and do that for?" every time I do something silly. I wish I had been able to join you on the wonderful trail rides you've been to, and I very much enjoy the ones we did go on together. I will miss our phone conversations. Elenor and John you did a great job raising a truly beautiful person inside and out...we will all miss her dearly. Ride baby ride, Lark, Shy-anne and Mindy await you. So long dear friend... - Posted by: Eileen, Rick and Ian Stapleton (friends) on: Feb 20, 2013

Rest in Peace Tannis, your fight is over. You will always remain in our hearts as an honest, tell it like it is person. I will always regret that I didn't make the time to come for that ride before I left for Alberta, and now I feel even further away and wish I had. Ride to your hearts content up there Tannis, you Will never be forgotten. - Posted by: Elaine Briden (Friend) on: Feb 20, 2013

It is hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful person. I always loved when I would answer the phone and you would say stupid question and it never was. Ray always teasing you and you getting back at him. You were like an Aunt to my kids. Ryan, Nadege, Liam, and Tara will miss you forever!! Will miss the hugs but we know you are in a better place. There will always be a place in our heart for you. Eleanor our deepest sympathy call if you need anything. We will meet again and you ride those horses up there. Love you and will forever miss you!!!! The Macumbers - Posted by: Teresa and Ray Macumber (Friends) on: Feb 20, 2013
