ELEANOR MARGARET TILLOTSON (NEE WRYE) Suddenly at home on February 19, 2013, at the age of 91 years, Eleanor Tillotson passed away. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bob (Shirlee); and daughter Carol (Gary); grandchildren Robert (Renee), Stephen, Kent (Pamela) and Kellie (Ryan). Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Robert and sister Jean. Eleanor was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, where she met and married Bob, the love of her life. They lived in Swan River, Brandon and finally Winnipeg. She went to work for Clarks as a cashier and worked her way up to Head Office at McLeods Stedman by her retirement. She was an avid golfer at Crescent Drive and enjoyed her cottage at Wanasing Beach for many years. Her volunteer work at Victoria Hospital started again with simple beginnings and progressed into the financial business of gift shop and guild by her second retirement . She enjoyed many trips to Spain, Portugal, Arizona and Hawaii during her travelling days. Games of bridge and mah jong always kept her mind sharp as a tack till the end. Her greatest attribute was always lending a helping hand to friends and relatives whenever she could. She always had a great positive attitude and no nonsense advice when asked. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Victoria General Hospital Guild, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9. • Sorry I'm not able to attend Celebration of Eleanor's life today. I've known Eleanor for many years starting with her employment with Clark's Gamble stores and Macleod Stedman. She was always lots of fun and a good friend. I have many fond memories of her friendship over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. My sincere sympathies to you all. We will miss her dearly. - Posted by: Betty Lannoo (co-worker) on: Feb 26, 2013
