MARY ANN JOHNSON August 15, 1939 - February 27, 2013 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Johnson, at the age of 73, on February 27, 2013 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. She is survived by her husband Ron, of 39 years, son Brian (Nidene), and granddaughters Victoria and Brianna. She is also survived by her brother Bill Brimson (Marilyne), sister Sally Boorman (Tony), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her mother Mary Euphemia Brimson and father William Lloyd Brimson. Mary was born on August 15, 1939 in Brockville, Ontario. She sang in the Holy Trinity Church choir before moving to Winnipeg in 1950 with her mother Mary and her brother and sister. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and grandmother. She adored her two granddaughters, enjoyed her flower gardens, animals, helping out in the community, and was always there to lend a hand to anyone she could. Mary worked at G.E. Sylvania/Phillips, and various general insurance offices. She also worked in the lunch program and as a crossing guard in Carpathia Elementary School. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of your choice, may be made in her honour.
