JAMES BURDETT (BUD) LANGTRY It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Burdett "Bud" Langtry on Friday, March 1, 2013, Bud is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Pat, his three children Deby, Jim and Jaunty, son-in-law Vince Schade and his grandchildren Tyler and Alex. His two brothers Jack and Stan and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Marjorie. Bud was born in Keeler, SK, on February 5, 1927. They lived in Saskatchewan and at the age of 12 the family moved to Stonewall to run a fox farm. He then joined his father at Victor Fox Foods where he spent the next 62 years. Bud's interests included hunting, sailing, canoeing and just being outdoors puttering at the lake or taking long walks. He was an active member of the Winnipeg Kinsman Club where he became Deputy Governor of district 2. As well enjoying a long time membership at the Granite Curling Club and Southwood Golf and Country Club. Bud and Pat spent their summers at West Hawk Lake and their winters on Marco Island, Florida A celebration of Bud's life will be held Wednesday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Gary United Church 800 Point Road. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at 6A South at St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Boniface Foundation or a charity of your choice.   • I can scarcely type for the tears. My Sonya says " it is like losing dad all over again. " she cannot remember when Bud was not part of her life. I am so aware of the well of sadness you are now feeling...
