Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL (MIKE) WINNICKY February 24, 1925 March 4, 2013 On Monday, March 4, 2013, the angels took Mike to heaven, to join his wife Nettie. He passed away peacefully with his children at his side. Mike was born on February 24, 1925 in Stuartburn, MB. Mike was predeceased by Nettie in 2003, his parents Joseph and Mary Winnicky, sister Katherine and Ann, brother Walter and grandson Michael. He is survived by his children Mary-Ann (Gerry) Lefebvre, Ivan (Judy) Winnicky, Sylvia (Jeff) Starr, Judy (Ron) Dubetski, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-granddaughter. Sister Catherine and brother John and many nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, with interment to follow. A heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful Staff at Middle Church Nursing Home for the compassionate care that they gave Mike during his stay there. "We will love you forever and miss you." Many good times were spent with Mike and Nettie through my friendship with Judy...I always considered the Winnicky Family my second family, the get togethers on Rossmore have been and always will be missed Thoughts and prayers to all the siblings.
