Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET KELLER Margaret Keller passed away peacefully on March 3, 2013 at age 98 at St. Boniface General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Chris in 1988, and by her granddaughter Gillian in 2003. Margaret was born in Cana, SK into a family of 13 children. She grew up in a farming community until 1950 when she and her husband and two children moved to Rivers, Manitoba where they remained until 1953 when they moved to Brandon, and finally Winnipeg in 1977. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Alvin (Mary) and Thelma (Ed) and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Respecting Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. Flowers are gratefully declined but anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Margaret, may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg Manitoba, R3E 0V9. My thoughts and prayers are for Thelma and Alvin and their families. My one memory of Auntie Margaret is her spirit. Always going for walks and telling me "I'm a tough old bird". Dear Thelma and Ed, Alvin and Mary and families Our condolences to you and your families. Words cannot express how we feeling about Mom's, grandmother,s and great grandmother's passing. She was a wonderful lady who dearly loved her family. We will always cherish the time we had with her when she visited us in B.C. and her love of doing puzzles and playing board games. She will missed by all. Sorry we can't be with you for the memorial service but our thoughts and prayers will be with you at this most difficult time.
