JESSIE LORRAINE ENGLISH (formerly HRYNCHUK) Peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2013, surrounded by her family and friends, Jessie passed away at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 79 years. Jessie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Holly Hrynchuk, son Paul Hrynchuk and his wife Colleen, grandchildren Jonah and Hannah, and many extended family and dear friends. Jessie was a very spiritual person whose zest for life was unmatched. Her amazing, colourful spirit will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. As per her request cremation has taken place and a celebration of mom's life is planned for this summer, the date will be published at a later time. The family would like to thank St. Boniface Palliative Care and the home care workers of Kin Place Health Complex for the extraordinary care given to Jessie. Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Jessie Lorraine, what a delightful, beautiful, charming, spiritual lady. I already miss you. We became friends b/c I went back to the Wellness Center to pick up your card for a friend. You said, "come to my apt. and I will give you a reading there." That was our first of many visits. First as a reading then meeting as friends to chat. You meant much to me and I am sorry I wasn't there at the end of your cycle here on Earth. I hope we somehow connect through readings I have as I didn't get to say good-bye and say I love you......blessings Barbara - Posted by: Barbara Last (friend) on: Apr 21, 2013

  • Although I have not seen Lorraine for many years, I have such fond memories spent with her and her children, Paul & Holly along with my children, Warren & Laura. Many days were spent together with the kids playing and Lorraine and myself having tea, laughing, and waatching our kids playing together. Lorraine, you were always so welcoming and it was a joy to be with you. - Posted by: Linda Bernhardt (friend) on: Mar 22, 2013

  • Jessie's beauty was both inner and outer. She radiated with the Joy she found in living with her many family members and friends. She connected easily with new people, showing acceptance of them, and much compassion for their life situations. She loved to dance as part of her expression of delight. She cooked with flair and generosity of spirit, such that even brown rice and lentils tasted like ambrosia. Her laughter peeled out and her tears fell suddenly as she experienced the spectrum of emotions with those close to her. We, at The Sanctuary, have loved her greatly, and hold her in our hearts. - Posted by: Hollie Andrew (Spiritual Sister at The Sanctuary) on: Mar 11, 2013
