Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES ARTHUR LOCKHAM August 2, 1928 March 6, 2013 James passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in Victoria Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by his only brother Steve and wife Anne, nephew Steve, niece Linda and great-grand-nephew Jonathan. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Nellie Lockham. Considerable thanks go to the doctors, nurses and pastors that cared for him during his final days. Jim was born in Weyburn, SK. Although a bachelor all his life, he was a highly diverse individual, from university, to peace time air force, to playing violin in the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, to automotive insurance adjuster. Hobbies included target handgun shooting, winning a silver medal at the Pan-American games, to building and flying advanced radio control models. Cremation will be conducted by Birchwood Funeral Chapel as per Jim's wishes. Jim will always be in our thoughts and prayers. As per Jim's wishes there will be no formal service. I worked with Jim at Mpi for several years and enjoyed his company on coffee breaks and shooting with him at the gun club. Very sorry to hear of his passing and express my deepest condolences to his Family.
