AIME D. ALLARD On March 11, 2013 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Aime passed away peacefully, after an amazing 97 years, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Adrienne in May, 1991, he is survived by his children: Yolande, Verna, Lawrence, Maurice, Sharron and Glenn, their spouses, 14 grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren. He was born in Mariapolis, MB in 1915, where he farmed the family homestead for 30 years. He moved his family to Winnipeg in 1956 and soon became employed by the City of St. Vital and then the City of Winnipeg from which he retired in 1980. He was able to enjoy 33 years in retirement. He enjoyed being with people and would engage just about anyone in conversation. He enjoyed his daily walks to St. Vital Centre for coffee with his friends, and was a member of various bowling teams and church groups for many years. He always had a very sharp mind. He was proud of his family and not afraid to tell anyone he met about his children's accomplishments.
