HAROLD RAMHARACK NARINE Peacefully on March 9, 2013, Harold Narine passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 71. Harold will be lovingly remembered by Mavis, his wife of 46 years; children Annabella (Brad) Harrison, Don (Cori), and Cynthia Narine (Bryce Lanz); grandchildren Ella, Simone "Snow White" and Baylyn Harrison, and Ethan, Evan "Tiger" and Jaden Narine; four sisters and one brother; brother-in-law Elijah (Indra) Bachu; niece and nephew Betsy (Dave) and Johnny; special family friend Dora Robert (Dusty); as well as many other family and friends in Canada, Trinidad and the United States. Harold was predeceased by his parents Narine and Laliah Ragoonath, brother Isaac Narine, and father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Beatrice Bachu. Harold was born in Trinidad and made Winnipeg his home since 1970. He had a love for many things, tailoring, cricket, travelling, camping but especially he loved his family. Harold always said "my most pure joy are my grandchildren". A Celebration of Harold's life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 95 Keewatin Street. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in Harold's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
