EDWARD GARFIELD SHAW June 18, 1932 - March 8, 2013 Edward Shaw was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He attended Centennial School and grew up in Old and West Kildonan. He also lived in Los Angeles, California in the 1960s and was in the sales profession for a good part of his life. Ed was an avid golfer. He was a kind and generous person and helped many people in his lifetime. Ed was a Freemason for over 50 years, a member of Corinthian lodge no 178. He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley (2004) his parents, Bert and Louise Shaw a sister and a nephew. Left to cherish his memory is his stepdaughter Joanne, his sisters Marge, Bev (Ron) and nephew Brice, and aunt Vi. Special thanks to Ed Sersen, Grant Jago, and Laurie for their kindness to Ed. In keeping with Ed's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 9Z9.
