LAWRENCE MELVILLE GOODING With sadness, our family announces the sudden and peaceful passing of Lawrence Gooding on March 11, 2013 at the Concordia Hospital with family at his side. He was predeceased by his wife Vivian, of 63 years. He is survived by daughter Rhonda (Lyle) Erickson, Marilyn (Ernest) Zubricki; grandchildren Tanis (Pat) Swallow, Daryl (Nikki) Erickson, Sharleen (James) Ridgway, Gregg (Michelle) Zubricki, and great-grandchildren Jessica, Mikayla, Rachel, Daniel, Becca, Joseph, Dylan and Madilyn. Lawrence was born in Winnipeg on May 22, 1919, the third child of Bertram and Eva Gooding. He worked for 34 years as a switchman for the C.N.R., retiring in 1977. Lawrence and Vivian moved to Concordia Village in 2006 and enjoyed six wonderful years of fellowship with all the kind staff and residents. The family will be having a private service.
