PAULINE NICHOLS (POPP) December 4, 1912 - March 3, 2013 Our family is sad to announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother at Luther Home. Predeceased by husband Reg, granddaughter Lori, her four brothers and one sister and survived by daughter Barbara (Bob) Magalas, granddaughters Shannon (Frank) Cronk, Brenda, and great-granddaughters Madison and Sheridan, also one brother Fred (Calgary), sisters-in-law Lillian Gunn and Eileen Nichols. Mom was born and raised in the North End and a long time resident of West Kildonan. She was a superb homemaker enjoying her garden and flowers. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crochet, bowling and bingo. Pauline loved watching all sports especially her Winnipeg Jets and Blue Bombers. Mom had a good visit with family and friends at her 100th Birthday celebration held at Luther Home. This was home for six and a half years and we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the compassion and excellent care she received. At Mom's request, no formal service will be held and a private interment has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
