NELLIE PAGE (nee FORD) Peacefully on March 10, 2013 at Tache Centre, Nellie Page passed away at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Harold and son Robert. Left to cherish her memory are her granddaughters Roberta (Mike), Jordan (Edgar), daughter-in-law Joanne (Ray), sister Alice and great-granddaughter Imogen, as well as many extended family members and friends. Nellie grew up in the Ashern area, MB. She met and married her husband Harold Page in 1948. They resided in Hnausa, MB until Harold's passing. At such time she moved into Winnipeg and worked for Federated Insurance, Viscount Gort Hotel and Eaton's as a baker. She was always on the go, never able to sit idle. Some of her hobbies included gardening, crocheting, mall walking, word searches, sun tanning while watching her granddaughters swim and above all else, spoiling her loved ones with her cooking and baking. Nellie was devoted to her family. She played a huge role in her granddaughter's lives. She was a very generous person and embodied the term unconditional love'. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and resting of her ashes will take place in Riverton, MB at a later date.
