GENEVIEVE LOURDES ROBLIN (nee ROBERTSON) June 22, 1929 - March 14, 2013 Predeceased by her parents, James Grant and Lourdes Genevieve Robertson, and her siblings, Grant, William and Janice. Survived by her husband of 60 years, Rod Roblin, and their five children, Diana (Brad), Charles (Karen), Rod (Lydia), James and Susan, as well as 11 grandchildren, William, David, George, Julia, Cole, Kathleen, John, Gordon Murdoch, Genevieve, Gordon Jeffrey and Sarah. Educated at Queenston, Robert H. Smith and Kelvin High School. Employed by the Bank of Montreal until her marriage on September 20, 1952. A brave and true person, Genevieve was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. May she rest in peace. A private family service in celebration of her life was held Monday, March 25, 2013, at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg with Fr. Gerry McDougall, sj officiating. I worked for the Roblin's in thier homes on Red River Dr. and in La Salle, and even way back on Cloutier Dr. Mrs. Roblin was allways smiling and an all around friendly happy person. My sincere condolences to Rod and family. Genevieve's passing was a great shock to all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
