Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN GEORGE SEALEY Peacefully, surrounded by family, Glen passed away on March 15, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Rhonda (Glenn), sons Darren and Jeffery (Cara), his grandchildren Matthew, Miranda, Andrew, Adrianna and Noah, his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Glen was predeceased by his beloved wife Marlene, his mother Ida, father George, stepfather Ed Cardno and his mother and father-in-law Albert and Margaret Keele. Glen was born in Winnipeg on July 15, 1939 and spent his entire life here. Glen was employed by MTS for 37 years and made many lifelong friends there. After retirement Dad enjoyed spending his time travelling with Mom, golfing, curling and going for coffee with his friends. Grandpa was a constant presence in the stands at all of Noah's hockey games, even joining the spring team on road trips, but Dad's true passion was his time spent at his cottage in Grindstone Park. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your father and grandpa. I know you will miss him terribly Rhonda and that he would do anything for you, Glenn and Noah. I only met him a few times but I'm sure that you brightened his every day and that he was so proud of you. Noah, just know that Grandpa is always with you and you will always have the wonderful memories of him to look back on. - Posted by: Janet McLeod and family ((friend of Rhonda, Glenn and Noah)) on: Mar 27, 2013

Your Dad was my favorite Foreman. He was kind, patient and very supportive. I do not think I would have stayed in that department, if it wasn't for him. I was working on Colony St. one day and ran accoss an abused cat at a customer's. Just before I got off work I went and picked her up. I went back to the Erin to finish my day and had to talk to Glen. I had the cat in my coat and as we were talking my chest started moving back and forth. He looked me in the eye with that big grin. I opened my coat and we had a good laugh. He will be missed. - Posted by: Kim Bannatyne () on: Mar 25, 2013

To the family sorry to hear about your loss. My parents William & Jean always told me great things about Glen and Marlene growing up. When I informed him that my mom had passed away in 2009 he was so nice to talk to about it. He told me some nice stories about my parents too. I wish I had gotten to know Glen sooner. When I talked to Glen two summers ago at Ron's house he told me that if he had one wish that it sure would be nice if the Keele members old and young could get together again with a reunion to get to know and see each other. I only wish his wish had come true before he passed. I believe that on the 15th when he went up to heaven that all the Keele's, Sealry's and my dad met him & welcomed him with open arms. Brenda, Donna and myself always enjoyed ourselves with our parents (Arnold and Nora) when we spent time together with Aunt Tilley and Glen. I am not sure if my other sisters Pat and Joyce were with us during the 50's and early 60's. Over recent times we met a few times each year at Kingswood or Transcona Golf Club while participating in Charity Golf Tournaments. Glen was a cousin and friend and I will miss the short time catching up on the news each time we met. He was sure proud of his family. - Posted by: Arnie Sealey (Cousin) on: Mar 20, 2013

I have never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Sealey but have worked with both his sons. Their work ethics were really good and as the saying goes the apple does not fall far from the tree. My condolences to Darren and Jeff. - Posted by: Paul Leveque (Co worker of his sons) on: Mar 19, 2013

This is so unfair that one of the well liked and low key persons is taken. I will miss Glen with his quiet humour and easy going personality. I had the good fortune to sit beside him and benefited from his advice and company for two years at the Erin Work Centre. Glen and I also worked together in PBX Installation when he started with MTS. I always looked forward to meeting him when we were at coffee at Polo Park. We will also miss him as a volunteer at all Special Olympic events that when we asked him to help out. My condolences to Rhonda, Darren and Jeffery and their families. We lost a great guy. - Posted by: Bob Bull (friend and co-worker) on: Mar 19, 2013
