RONALD GLEN BLOCK It is with deep sadness we announce that Ron Block, aged 58, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Concordia Hospital after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. Ron leaves to cherish his memories his wife Cathie, two sons Brad (Tracy), Jeff (Chelsea), and Jackie the mother of his sons, his mother Marge and stepfather Frank, sister Pat (Kerry), brothers Bruce, Greg (Penny), sisters-in-law Debbie and Heather, nieces Amanda, Ashley, nephews Ryan, Justin, grandchildren, Jonathan, Junior, Tyra, Jadyn, Celicia, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Roy in June 2007. Ron was a caring, giving person who was always willing to lend a hand. He loved family gatherings, gardening and outdoor activities and loved taking his dog Zoey for walks. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Paramedics, Concordia Hospital staff in ICU and N3W, for their special care, to Chaplain Rev. Amos Fehr for his care and compassion during this difficult time, and to family friends for their love and support. Cathie sends special thanks to her friends Sandra, Wilf and Sylvia for all their support. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in Ron's memory. Viewing will take place on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba. May you rest in peace Ron. You will never be forgotten. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
