Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH OLAFUR THORDARSON With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Joe Thordarson on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 65 years. Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife Diana (nee Coates), and parents Snorri and Freda Thordarson. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Benjamin Thordarson; granddaughter Chaise Raya Thordarson, and other relatives and friends that he made throughout his life. Memorial Service will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Langruth, Manitoba on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Phyllis Thordarson officiating. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Joe's memory to a charity of one's choice. MY COUSIN JOAN AND I TAUGHT JOE HOW TO DRIVE. HE WAS A QUICK LEARNER BUT AS HE ALWAYS SAID THE ICLANDERS WERE THE SMARTEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.T HIS INSIDE JOKE CAME UP OFTEN OVER THE YEARS.
