JEAN DREWNISZ It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jean Drewnisz, on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 89 years of age. Left to cherish Jean's memory are her daughters Liz and Wendy (Gary), and son Rick (Rose). Jean was born in on May 19, 1923 and immigrated to Canada in 1949 where she met her late husband Frank. She enjoyed life to the fullest, made friends easily and enjoyed traveling in later years. Mom will be fondly remembered as a happy and caring person with a warm smile and a loving heart. She was a highly respected, active member of her church, singing in the choir and was president of the Catholic Women's League for seven years. She also volunteered at the Polish Pavilion for Folklorama. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Church, 541 Marion Street with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Gacki, presiding.
