To the McQueen family my condolences on Barry's passing. I've not spoken to Barry in many years. He was my hockey coach in Stonewall 1970-71. Barry had been on mind a lot as I had done farrier work on a horse named McQ who was owned by Barry. Super Guy!! - Posted by: Rick Klassen (Friend and my Hockey coach Stonewall midgets 1970-71) on: Sep 09, 2013

We will all miss Barry for the kind and gentle person he was. I first met Barry when I went with the Hall of Fame Lacrosse Team to the Minto Cup Finals. We both worked in the Richardson Building for so many years and he always had a smile and a kind word every day. We will all miss him at the Lacrosse Alumni get together. Sincere condolences to Pat and Family. - Posted by: Clarke Peterman (friend) on: Apr 03, 2013

Barry worked alongside my father, Jordan , in the concourse of the Richardson building for close to two decades.. Many of today's top stock brokers were recruited and trained by that tandem. I also had the pleasure of serving on the Board of Directors of Winnipeg Enterprises Corp. with Barry as we dealt with events such as the demise of the Jets and the ultimate transition to the MTS Centre. He was a congenial, supportive person who was a consummate team player. Rest in peace, Harry Ethans - Posted by: Harry Ethans (Friend) on: Apr 03, 2013

Barry will be saddly missed by his Blue Bomber alumni buddies, especially by his Alumni golf foursome of Ray Ash, Tony Kehrer and myself. Growing up in the West End I had the pleasure of sharing many sports (both with Barry and against), especially - high school, Junior Rods and Wpg. Blue Bombers football, as well as hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and track. I would have to say "Amen" to all the accolades shared in this guest book. My sincere condolences. Dear Pat and family--It is with heavy heart that I write this, as Barry was a true lifelong friend. We grew up around Isaac Brock, playing hockey, lacrosse, football, basketball and baseball for the better part of two decades. We shared many triumphs and losses (fortunately more of the former), before life and vocational endeavors separated us. Fortunately, when we did get together, it was as like old times. I will miss his friendship and his humor. Please accept our deepest condolences. Ralph and Mickey - Posted by: Ralph Lyndon (Lifelong friend) on: Mar 26, 2013
