RAYMOND BRUCE BRISCOE June 2, 1930 March 23, 2013 Raymond (Ray) Briscoe passed away peacefully after a short illness on March 23, 2013 at Grace Hospital. Ray had been surrounded by family and friends in his last days. He was predeceased by his wife Caroline in 2001 and is survived by his children Sharon and Colin and his grandson Graham. He is also survived by Caroline's children Simone, Brigette and Andre. Also mourning Ray are his best friend Bruce who meant so much to Ray and was a tremendous support to him over the years, as well as other neighbours, friends and family. Ray was born and raised in Winnipeg and enjoyed a lengthy career with Eaton's before his retirement. He and Carol enjoyed many wonderful times at their cottage at Matlock. Over the years, Ray enjoyed working on his yard and garden that he was very proud of. A memorial service for Ray will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ray's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.   • We will miss our long time neighbour. When Ray knew we were going on a road trip, he'd greet us in the morning with hot muffins for the road. Always a wave and a hello greeting.
