Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER HOWARD YOUNG Walter Young, beloved husband of Marjorie, of Cypress River, MB passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home in Glenboro, MB on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the age of 97 years. Walter leaves to mourn his passing his wife Marjorie (nee Greenlay), of Cypress River, MB, sons Donald (Betty) of Winnipeg, MB, Robert (Michael Stecky) of Toronto, ON, Gary (Laura) of Guelph, ON, Neil (Debra) of Cypress River, MB, and Keith (Therese) of Calgary, AB, grandchildren Scott, Mark, James, Garrett, Caylie, Lena, Jesse and Nora, and great-granddaughter Zoë, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Minnie (nee Lee) Young, and brother Gordon (Mabel) Young. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cypress River United Church, with Phyllis Mulligan officiating. Interment to follow in Glencoe Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Walter's memory to the Cypress River and Area Foundation, Box 86, Cypress River, MB R0K 0P0. Sincere condolences to the family of Walter. I really enjoyed his talent and especially his company during his many visits to the Tiger Hills Art Gallery. He was such a gentle person with a great sense of humor. He always brought a ray of sunshine to my day when he visited. He will be missed.
