Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Aunt Emily will always be remembered as being very kind and loving to this nephew. If anything had every happened to our parents, they made it abundantly clear they wanted to be our guardians. From the time we first met in 1958, through other meetings up to the 70's, it was always a joy to be with you. I feel bad we lost track of each other after Uncle Lawrence passed away. Emily died one day after her sister-in-law Bertha Lillian Corrigan (Victor Searle Corrigan's wife) and their funerals were held on the same date and at the same time. RIP dear lady! - Posted by: Jim Corrigan (Nephew) on: Sep 16, 2013

  • Aunt Emily...such a sweet, kind lady. My Father's 2nd oldest Brother's wife. One year, Mom & I didn't get a Christmas card from her which lead to us losing touch. We often called her to talk and remember many of our conversations. In the recent past I have been searching for her diligently with no success. Sadly I came across this notice today. I had to take a second look as she passed away the day after our Mother, and their funeral services were not only the same day, at the exact same time! How poetic that Mom most likely found her before I did. - Posted by: Daniel Corrigan (Nephew) on: Sep 16, 2013

  • Emily was Art's mother's sister. We lost contact with her after a hospital visit. I am so sorry we could not have found her sooner, so could have had more time with her. She was a kind and gentle lady and will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Art & Joyce Keir (Nephew) on: Apr 03, 2013
