Ian is survived by Donna (Smith), his wife of 54 years, son Donald (Barbara) of Kelowna, daughter Mardi of Winnipeg, son Stuart (Hanaa) of Winnipeg, grandchildren Zoe and Simon of Kelowna and step-grandsons Owen and Ben. He leaves his nephew Andrew Savage, nieces Susan Savage and Janet Savage of Calgary, and cousin Ngaio Kidwell of Liverpool, Eng. He was predeceased by his sister Jocelyn.
