Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVAN H. PEPPER, Ph.D. My beloved husband died peacefully on March 27, 2013 at the Fred Douglas Lodge. He was my "knight in shining armour" and will live forever in my heart. Along with wife Bozenna (Betty) and her family, he is survived by his children with their families including grandchildren and great-grandson. Evan had many interests and with enthusiasm he shared the knowledge and expertise in science, history, literature, film, cooking and home renovation. He will be remembered as a quiet and gracious man, gentle, romantic, generous, with a sense of humour and always a gentleman. In his professional life he was an educator, a scientist, a scholar. Respecting his wishes, his body was donated to the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Science. There will be no service.

I was a botany student at Brandon University in the early 1970's. Evan was my favorite prof. Today I got to thinking of him and googled his name. That's how I learned of his passing.
