Sincere sympathy to the Chapman family. Elsie will be missed by all who knew her. Elsie was part of our Saturday night dinner at the Lakeview and she would walk across the street from her apartment, coming in the back door of the Lakeview, visiting with everyone along the way. It was an honour to be Elsie's friend. One night Elsie fell on her "crossing" and when Marge Enright came along. Marge looked down at Elsie and asked "what are you doing down there?" Those who knew Elsie can imagine her reply! Sent by Irene Lyon, April 14, 2013 - Posted by: Irene Lyon (Friend) on: Apr 14, 2013

My sincere condolences to the Chapman family. Elsie was always there through my years of growing up in Lac du Bonnet. She was always so friendly and had a warm greeting whenever I returned to visit with my parents over many years. I know that people will miss her presence as she contributed so much for so many years to daily happenings and special events in the town. She will always be part of my memory bank of Lac du Bonnet.
