It was Monday, April 1st that Jeff and I were sharing stories about our kids when we saw each other at a water rescue drill. 8 and 11 station will never be the same for me. This is where Jeff and I spent a great deal of time together. We made such great memories over the years we knew each other and worked together. Jeff loved to laugh and together we laughed about a lot of things. I will always remember the wealth of knowledge Jeff provided on tech rescue, water rescue, fire and medical calls. He gave me confidence as an officer. I knew I could always count on him for a solid answer and action whatever the situation. I loved hearing Jeff share about Carter and Natalie and I could so relate to all his stories. He was so proud of his family and I certainly knew he was a great father and husband. Thanks Jeff for making me a better person!! My life is rich having met you and gotten to know you and worked with you. You will be greatly missed!!! To the Nazimek Family; Annelize and I will be praying for peace for you at this very difficult time. - Posted by: Gary Loewen (Brother Fire Fighter WFD) on: Apr 10, 2013

Jeff I will miss our Sunday's battling on the ice, together and most often against each other! It was always a challenge when you went up against the twin towers! We not only lost a friend, a teammate, but a brother! Going to miss seeing at school when we pick up the kids, and will find it even more difficult not hearing that boisterous laugh in the dressing room again! You were taken from us in the prime of your life! I will miss you! I will miss our laughs! I will miss our battles! Just remember the next time you lace 'em up...Rubbin Is Racing! Peace Brother! - Posted by: Arthur Bignell & Family (Friend/Teammate) on: Apr 09, 2013

Jennifer, Carter & Natalie, As a second cousin to Jeff, I have not had the privilege to have met all of you, there is this one memory that I would like to share with you... Jeff along with his brothers, Jason and Darcy would visit us (Krole Family) when they were small. They used to entertain us doing Kung-Fu fighting and even though Jeff would always end up on the floor he would always rise backup to the occasion, jump right back in only to once again end up on the floor, we would all laugh. It is that memory that I will always remember Jeff with and having said that I do hope and pray that the memories you, Carter and Natalie have will grant you all the strength and hopefully bring a smile and a laugh back to your home like that memory does for me. - Posted by: Russ Krole (Cousin (second)) on: Apr 09, 2013
