MANUEL NERY LOPEZ (TATAY MANNING) Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Tatay Manning passed away on April 4, 2013 at the age of 84. Tatay Manning was born eldest of four children to parents Sebastian Lopez and Arcadia Nery on March 27, 1929 in Paranaque, Philippines. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Jaime Lopez and son-in-law Edgardo Felipe. He is survived by his loving wife Leonila Lopez, daughters Loida Ilagan (Tony), Jeannet Felipe, Caroline Lopez and son Emmanuel Lopez (Ethel) and grandchildren Elizabeth Felipe, Mark, Raemon and Bryan Ilagan, Eldrick, Evan and Emma Lopez, brother Ernesto Lopez, sister Lourdes Lopez, niece Elizabeth Balabat, and sister-in-law Leticia Lopez, niece Jenyshell Lopez (sons Joshua and Duanyell), nephews John Lopez (wife Marnie and sons Jordan and Reece) and Eric Lopez (wife Allison and daughter Alliyah), and extended family Evelyn Bungalon (husband Renato and daughter Enna); Rhoda Victorino (husband Nestor). The family appreciates the medical care provided by Dr. Chi-eing Chow and the Home Care support of Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and the staff of the Health Sciences Centre (ER and GH4). Also the support and prayers from The Servants of the Lord and the 5:30 Choir of St. Edwards Church. The viewing (Lamay) will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Thursday, April 11, Friday, April 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Prayer service and celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Edwards Catholic Church 818 Arlington St. on April 13 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Serenity Garden at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens followed by a reception at St. Edwards Church Hall.
