Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON MICHAEL CORKE After a lengthy battle with cancer, Gordon passed away peacefully at the age of 70. Gordon grew up and lived in Elmwood, East Kildonan. He had a great work ethic which started at a very young age. At 13 years of age he started delivering groceries on his bicycle, summer and winter. After a 39 year career at Canada Safeway as a produce manager he retired. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, playing baseball and a good joke. He enjoyed vacationing in Arizona. Gordon has touched many lives, young and old with his charming personality and sense of humor. Furry, four legged creatures included. Gordon will be sadly missed by his best friend and life partner Christa, his sister Barb, his sons Wade (Debbie), Colin (Laura), and grandchildren Tayler, Cole and Hailyn, nieces, nephews and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff for the care and compassion Gordon received while he was hospitalized.
