Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFERNAND LAURENCELLE On Thursday, April 11, 2013, with his loving family by his side, Fernand Laurencelle peacefully passed away at the age of 77. He was born June 7, 1935 in La Broquerie. Fernand will be greatly missed by his loving wife Lina (Taillefer), his children Alain (Francine), Ginette Vanska (Vesa), Michèle Riet (Jeff), Colette Gagné (Pascal), Robert (Heather) and his sixteen grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Louis (Gisèle), Eva (Marc), Alfred (Yvonne), Adrien, Victor (Carol), Hermance (Gordon), Marcien (Fleurette), Marie (Daniel), Lucille (Ron), and sisters-in-law Thérèse and Jocelynne (Bob). He will also be fondly remembered by the Taillefer family and his many nephews and nieces. Fernand was predeceased by his parents Louis and Georgeline (Laramée); brothers, Fabien, Pierre, Roland; brother-in-law Antoine and sisters-in-law Lorraine and Yolande. Dad grew up and worked on the family farm and later moved to the city where he dedicated his life to raising his children and taking part in community life. A carpenter like his patron saint Joseph, he always took great pride in building and fixing things for other people. Dad was also a man of strong faith and a model of patience and generosity. He loved his family above all and received great joy in spending time with his grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and also Dr. José François who always provided Dad with compassionate, professional care. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral with prayers and eulogy beginning at 10:00 a.m. Un bel homme qui nous laisse un bel exemple d'une belle vie. We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Laurencelle. Our deepest sympathy to his family. I have fond childhood memories of our family visits to his home to spend time with them.
