Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH MARGARET STEWART (nee PIPER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom (Nana) on April 11, 2013 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband Jack (Gramps) and her sister Ann Markusson. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Rick (Vicki) and Ken (Lorraine) and granddaughters Sheri, Krista, Kelsey and Bailey, great-granddaughters Kaylee and Payton and her sister Lee Smith. Mom devoted herself to taking care of her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends, playing golf in the summer and cribbage or bridge in the winter. A private family interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Edith to Jocelyn House or the Canadian Cancer Society. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mom. We will always remember the infamous Sewing Club gatherings and how much my Mom loved getting together with Auntie Edith and Auntie Eleanor and how all of us kids loved to see the Aunties when it was our Mom's turn to host! She is now in a safe and peaceful place and free of pain and sadness...rest in peace, Auntie Edith!
