HAROLD LAVADIER Peacefully after a lengthy illness with family at his side, Harold passed away on April 18, 2013 in Pine Falls, MB. Harold was born on April 27, 1946 in Hollow Water to Ambrose and Virginia Bushie. Harold is lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years Alma and by children Carey (Lana) and Jamie (Dana), grandchildren Kayla, Janine, Shanika, Harold, Keenan, Cassius and Nemphis, special great-grandchild Ariana. Harold is survived by his brothers Paul (Velma), Miles, Pat (Lydia), Conrad (Flora), Neil (Cynthia) and sisters Barbara (Bernard), Marge (John), Theresa (Garnet) and Merilee (Jason). Also his special aunt Carrie (Wayne) Forbes and uncle Valdie Seymour. Special cousins Leslie and Burma Bushie, special friends Mark and Irene Fountain, all his spiritual brothers and sisters at the Lac du Bonnet Congregation, all his coffee buddies at the Broadlands Restaurant, all foster children that were in their care Kathy Daniels (Gord), Jason Bercier, Chantal Ross and Aundrea Swampy. Harold enjoyed many hunting trips with his buddies along with fishing, trapping and loved being outdoors. Harold enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially with his Little Nanu. The family would like to thank the Pine Falls Hospital staff for the care and compassion they've shown Harold during his stay. A big thank you to the nurses that took good care of him, Chippy, Vicky, Angie, Lorraine and Carla. Special thanks to Wendy LaForte and Adrienne Pakoo, they always made sure Harold was comfortable. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sagkeeng Mino Pimatiziwin Family Treatment Centre Gymnasium on the south shore Sagkeeng First Nation. The memorial talk will be given by Peter Grzegorzewski. A luncheon to follow and a private interment will take place at a later time. Harold found comfort in the scripture Revelations Chapter 21 Versus 3 and 4; With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Rock Fontaine Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
