HERMAN REMPEL June 30, 1940 - April 13, 2013 It is with sadness we announce that Herman peacefully passed away at the age of 72. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Agnes; siblings George, Peter, Erna and Elsie; and granddaughter Janna. Left to remember him are his daughters Christine (Bruce), Carolyn (Jim), Teresa (Puba) and Stephanie; along with their mother Anne; nine grandchildren; brothers Art and Herb; sisters Mary Letkeman and Tina Ferris. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed by those who knew him. He had a ready laugh and captivating smile, making friends with many along his journey. His generosity and willingness to help others remained constant; his faith unwavering. Uncle Art and Louise, Uncle Herb and Aunt Helen, dear friends recent and old, we thank you for your love and practical ways that you helped Dad especially in these recent years. We would like to also thank the medical staff at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach for their kind care and support of Dad, and the diligent home care staff for their daily contact and assistance. In honour of Herman and should you so wish, donations may be made to the Mennonite Disaster Service. A service of remembrance celebrating Herman's life will be held at the Steinbach Mennonite Church, 345 Loewen Blvd., Steinbach, on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 4 p.m.
