FRANK PROVENZA It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Frank Provenza. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Grace Hospital. Frank leaves to cherish his memory his wife Maria, son Paul (Carol) and the apple of his eye his grandson Nico as well as his brother Antonino (Giuseppina) Provenza, sister Francesca (Giovanni) Ciulla, sister Rosalia Rizzo. sister-in-law Maria Provenza, sister-in-law Enza Provenza Uncle Giuseppe Troia as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Rosa Provenza in 2011. Frank was born July 15, 1930, in Capaci, Sicily and moved to Canada in 1957. In September of 1958, he started working for CN Railway where he worked until he retired in 1992. Frank loved to take long walks and work on his garden and with more time on his hands his vegetable garden grew and grew. Due to his generous nature friends and neighbors would often find bags of produce dropped off at their door with a promise of more to come. Family was everything to Frank whether you were his wife, son, daughter or sibling. Frank always new best and would always make his opinion known whether you agreed or not. It was always done with the best of intentions and love. He will be sorely missed. We'd like to send a special thank you to all the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge, Deer Lodge Centre and Grace Hospital for the wonderful care they gave dad.
