BUSANG PETER SETILOANE It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Busang Peter Setiloane at the age of 61 on April 21, 2013 at Victoria General Hospital. Peter is survived by his wife Una, daughters Lindiwe (Tyler) and Petrina (Dafe). He also leaves to mourn, his brothers Chwaro, Thero and Lao, and sisters Ouma and Kehumile. Peter was predeceased by his parents Reverend Dr. Gabriel Setiloane and Ellen Setiloane. Peter was born in South Africa and attended school in England where he completed his PhD in Chemistry at the Imperial College in London England where he met and married Una. He was a professor and researcher in Chemistry at the Universities of Alberta and Manitoba. Peter was an avid reader and enjoyed all types of music and sports. Peter is fondly remembered for his kindness and his wonderful sense of humour. Although no longer with us, his memory lives on in the hearts of those he has touched. The family would like to thank Dr. Hayward, Dr. Sharkey, the nurses at the Victoria General Hospital and those who cared for Peter at home. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB. My wife, Mulsie and I met Una and Peter, first in London and then developed a real friendship in Edmonton. We are deeply saddened by this belated news of Peter's death and would liKe to convey our deepest sympathy to Una and their daughters.
