Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I was so sorry today to read of your loss and wanted to let you know our thoughts and prayers will be with you through these difficult days. I also wanted you to know that I have many happy memories of times spent with Bob and some that have stayed with me through the years are the times he took me to see the Kelvin Grad's Operettas, at the Pantages Theatre in the 1950's. Since I was in my late teens and he was a handsome young man, some five years older, these were very special occasions and are still tucked away in the corner of my mind and heart. - Posted by: Shirley Jones (Cousin) on: Apr 26, 2013

  • Judy, Ian and David, our sincere condolences for the loss of your father. I often remember the times we shared with all of you at the lake. It always brings a smile to my face remembering his grin when I pulled out the container of my mom's perogies and he quickly disapeared into his bedroom - never to have anyone see those perogies again. Your father, he was a beautiful soul, funny, intelligent and we have nothing but awesome memories of him. - Posted by: Lydia and Luke and family (Friends) on: Apr 26, 2013

  • My deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Cairns. May all your fond memories bring you peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead. He was a kind and gentle soul and a pleasure to know. I will miss his sense of humor, his surprising depth and scope of knowledge and the warmth and laughter he extended during my visits to see him. Rest in Peace now, Bob. - Posted by: Kathie H.
