W. FRANK SMITH Peacefully, it is with deep sadness that we announce the death of W. Frank Smith on April 24, 2013, age of 86, at Deer Lodge Centre. He is survived by his spouse Anna, children Debbie, Patricia, Barbara, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Hestella Smith, and his sisters Eva and Dorothy. During the Second World War, Frank served as a Radar Operator on Corvette Duty, serving throughout the North Atlantic during his Tour of Duty. Frank then moved on to steel sales, working at Dominion Bridge for a number of years, until Frank found himself working at the Nord-Sen Metal Company. Thank you to the Deer Lodge Centre, (T6) for their care and compassion. On behalf of Frank's wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Winnipeg, or a charity of one's choice. Anna and Family. Jan and I were saddened to hear the news of Frank's passing. We have some great memories of you both, and will cherish them always.
