Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARL DAVID WILSON On Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Earl David Wilson died peacefully at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his wife Irene, sister Shirley, brother Verne, and parents David and Millie. Earl leaves behind his children, Bruce (Maureen), Lisa (Dylan), grandchildren, Bronwen (Josh), Ainsley (Brad), Gareth, Laura (Ryan), Rhys (Michelle) and great-grandchildren Rylee, Nevah, Masen, Owen, Layna, and Carys to celebrate his life. Earl was born in Newdale, MB on June 2, 1928. He was always interested in fixing things which led him to a career in automotive repair. He started working in Yorkton, SK, then followed the owner to Winnipeg where he met his sweetheart. Earl and Irene were married in 1953. They spent their life together building their cottage, gardening, and watching the children and grandchildren grow. Earl enjoyed curling, wood working, fishing and socializing with good friends. He was always proud of his Irish heritage and celebrated St. Patrick's Day by wearing his special tie and buying coffee for his co-workers. In keeping with Earl's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111

Earl was a very good man with high work and moral ethics. When starting out in the automotive repair field, I had the opportunity to work under Earl's supervision.
