GLADYS PIHULAK Peacefully on April 20, 2013 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Gladys Lizzie Pihulak (nee Jones). She was predeceased by husband Alexander, and son David. Mom's focus and pride and joy the last 29 years were her two grandsons, Sean (Alisa) and Troy (Theresa). "The boys" kept her young, kept her laughing, and loved her immensely. Thanks to Dr. Moncek and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the professional care and compassion over the last month. Very special thanks to friends and family over the years, all of the Calgie's, great neighbors Tammy, Ernie, and Lois, and special friends Gerry Landino and Murray Abraham. Honouring Mom's wishes, no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a family only interment will follow. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. We would ask you that next time you are sharing a laugh with family and friends please remember Mom's infectious laugh. You will be missed. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111

I remember as a small child coming to visit a number of times with my mother Doris and my grandmother Mary Pihulak. I remember the piano in the living room and I always tried to play Mary had a little Lamb. God Bless.... Elizabeth - Posted by: Elizabeth Douglas (nee Horvath) () on: Sep 14, 2013

Gladys has always held a special place in my heart and memory. We were always welcomed and enjoyed visiting. As a child I remember the fun times when she and family stayed with us for a week at a time on the farm. Such good family time. God bless her memory and grant comfort to her family in their grief. Auntie Gladys was the most beautiful woman I've ever met! She was like having a second Mum, plus your best friend. We would talk every day, sometimes for hours on end, talking about absolutely Everything. I so badly want to pick up the phone and talk to my Auntie Gladys. I am overwhelmed by grief at Auntie Gladys passing and I will miss her with All My Heart. I Love You Forever!!! Miss you.....Love Barb - Posted by: Barb Singbeil (Niece) on: Apr 30, 2013
