Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES M. KACHOR After a brief illness, Fran passed away at Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, April 25, 2013. She was predeceased by her partner Howard in 1991, mother Flora Kachor (nee Clark) in 1999, father William Kachor in 2000, and brother Kenneth in 1989. She is survived by her son Chris (Violeta), sister Lorraine (Locksley), brother Ralph (Pat), five nephews, and three nieces. Fran was born in Winnipeg in 1942, and worked in the Food and Beverage Services for over 35 years. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg with reception to follow. I'm so sorry for your loss.... Fran and I have been seeing each other every 6 weeks for the past 5ish years. She was a lovely lady and I always looked forward to our appointments. I was always impressed by her fashion sense, she dressed very smart and always had a great purse that I would joke was much too heavy for her! She was always up for whatever crazy hair idea I thought would look great because she was so young at heart and liked to try something different and she wasn't afraid to stand out like a lot of women her age might have and I was always impressed by this. I am saddened by Fran's passing.
