Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH WAYNE SLATER It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Wayne Slater, on April 21, 2013 at the age of 61. He is predeceased by his father William and brother Herbert. He is remembered fondly by his wife Barb, sons Steven, Ken, Matthew, mother Rose, brothers Garry (Shirley), Derrick (Rowena), sister-in-law Debbie, brothers-in-law Joe and Bob (Heddy) Paquet, as well as numerous family and friends. Ken was raised in Transcona, worked at Consolidated Bathurst and was involved with Scouting for many years. He will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
