  • DEAR SHIRLEY... WE WILL MISS YOUR "MOM" FOR A VERY LONG TIME. ANNE WAS A VERY HAPPY PERSON, MADE AND KEPT FRIENDS EASILY. ALWAYS HAD AN UPBEAT ATTITUDE. VERY ACTIVE NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ANNE WAS 97 AT HER PASSING. SHE WAS NOT SHY ABOUT EXPRESSING HER FEELINGS...ON ANYTHING, GOOD OR BAD. HER MEMORIES OF EAST ST. PAUL 55+ ACTIVITY CLUB WERE ALWAYS POSITIVE. ANNE WAS VERY ACTIVE IN CARDS...SHE COULD AND WOULD BEAT THE BEST OF THEM IN CRIBBAGE AND WHIST. SHE WOULD CALL YOU ON AN ERROR, AND SEE IT THROUGH...SHE NEVER BACKED DOWN...FROM ANYONE. I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF YOUR MOM AS ONE GUTSY LADY... ALWAYS READY TO STAND UP FOR WHAT SHE THOUGHT WAS RIGHT. SHIRLEY YOU WERE VERY GOOD TO YOUR "M0M" ... ALWAYS THERE FOR HER ... ALWAYS LETTING HER LIVE HER LIFE AS SHE WANTED. LIVING IN HER OWN HOME, KEEPING ACTIVE, LIVING THE BEST LIFE SHE COULD HAVE EVER HAD. WE WILL ALL MISS YOUR "MOM" ROSE and ALBERT - Posted by: Rose Franklin and Albert Hawryluk (FRIENDS) on: Apr 30, 2013

  • Shirley, you're so fortunate to have had your Mom in your life all these years. I enjoyed playing cards with her at the Senior Centre and was very happy when she was my partner. She was tough to beat! Our thoughts are with you. - Posted by: Marilyn Chubey, Vernon, B.C. (Friend) on: Apr 29, 2013
