Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS SOPHIE KOLODIE-GUSTA Doris was born on July 5, 1924 in the R.M. of St. Clements, MB. She passed peacefully into the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ on April 27, 2013. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Penny (Don Ludwar), Florie (Howard Williamson), Sharon (Wilbert Ronald), Willie (Paul Shapansky) and Enid (Terry Cooper) - 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, along with many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bill Kolodie and Frank Gusta; her parents Wasyl and Maria Zawershenuk; her siblings: Bill, Anne, John, Kay, George, Michael and Vicky and her precious granddaughter Maline. On New Year's Day - 1961 - the gospel changed the course of Doris' life. Her new found faith and trust in God gave her new purpose and direction. "Absent from the body - present with the Lord" A Celebration of Doris' Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, a donation in memory of Doris Kolodie-Gusta may be made to the Gideon Bible Society.
