  • Johanna lived with the Johnson family in Dauphin, for about a year, in the 1950s. We got to know her again, when our 2 daughters Sara, and Gina, who both had health issues, were often involved with Children's Hospital. Johanna was always so supportive and cheerful, and we always made a point of looking for her there. We have stayed in touch for many many years, and just in January 2013, Gina and her husband Ryan saw Johanna on a flight to and from the Dominican. She was cheerful and gracious as always, and none of us even knew she was sick. Johanna was a truly beautiful soul, and we will miss her. - Posted by: Rick and Pat (Trish) Johnson (Family friends) on: May 11, 2013

  • Whether it was a bouquet of flowers or Gummi Bears for the kids, Mrs. Person was the first to bring a little gift to celebrate a holiday or acknowledge a small gesture. She will be greatly missed. We were priveledged to be neighbors over the past 38 years. On behalf of all of us, we would like to send our condolences to Robert and his family. It was an honor to have her in our lives. Little Kevin and Nadia grew to love their "Auntie Johanna" on the block. God Bless. - Posted by: The Anastasiadis family (Leo, Sophia, Jim, and Vycki) (Neighbor) on: May 07, 2013

  • Mrs. Person was not only a regular customer at A Flower Affair but also a friend who came in to chat. She would bring treats on occasion but it was always a treat to see her. Mrs. Person, as she preferred to be called, will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. • We have great admiration for Johanna Person and are shocked to read that she went to be with the Lord.
